Hi, my name is Mr. Bear

I am a female Labradoodle. (I know, I know, I'm female, but I love it when you use my full name).

For those of you who don't know, a Labradoodle is a cross between a Labrador & a Poodle.

We are very special dogs, very loving & very intuitive.

My owners, Di & George don't know my origins but know that my previous owners picked me up in the pound, they cannot understand how anyone could have put me there as I am just such a wonderful dog.

They do know I would have hated it there as I need people to love & look after.

They think I am about 12 dog years old  (2002) and they saved me from being put down as my previous owners loved me & could not send me back to the pound when they could keep me no longer.

My owners think I am very strange as now I won't go for a walk over to the Common unless they both come. I nearly got stung by a bee before Xmas (2001) & got so frightened that I lost Di so now they think I feel safer if they both come. Besides they both need the exercise.

They believe I'm getting Alziemers as I keep developing these strange behaviours. I now won't walk if it's dark, sometimes I won't walk up the alley, there's bindies there & they stick in my feet. When I get a bindy I just freeze, I never bark to call them, they always know I'm in trouble & come back to help me. They are worried one day I just won't walk at all.

I love eating the cat's left-overs, but I'm usually pretty good.

I do wait til Yogi Bear finishes,

I just don't give him a chance at 2nd helpings.
